It illuminates very well and can stand in as a night light if your bathroom requires it. I love the glow that comes from here, it is atmospheric and will remind you of being in a nice hotel. The anti fog part of this is also impressive. We have a larger bathroom that we installed this in, and even the hottest of showers will not steam up the mirror. It is pretty neat.Installation was fairly simple. It is big and has some heft to it (measurements are accurate). You will want to follow the instructions closely and make sure that you have the space to accommodate it. There is very little give when it comes to spacing. It will require an extra set of hands, or you run the risk of shattering this completely.Really nice mirror that will fit perfectly in your contemporary bathroom. It is a stand out piece that your guests will enjoy, and you will find useful.A good idea to have two people, but fairly easy to mount. Sturdy thickness. A bit fragile in some areas, a sturdy frame. Two choices of how to hang it up. The sensor is worthy of mention since it makes it so much easier to operate. Choice of brightness. Good size and thickness.
